Let ≠ Skok radionica kontakt improvizacije

Scott Wells

Flying ≠ Jumping Contact Improvisation Workshop

Scott Wells

The aim of the workshop is understanding and learning basic principles of contact improvisation, the principles of flying and jumping as well as using contact improvisation for stucturing and development of improvisation as a formo f performance.

Some oft he techinques that will be toughts are: ‘flying patterns’ (lifts, how to spring, how to jump, how to fly), ‘fluid acrobatics’ (actobatics in movement), ‘pure contact’(contact improvisation basics).

Flying ≠ Jumping because, ‘jumping’ is exclusively a muscular action, ‘flying’ results from a specific body articulation and concentration during the jump.

The content oft he workshop is based on Scott’s long experience in contact both through stage performance as well as teaching workshops around the world.
